The Brooklyn Nets faced off against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night, and while the Nets prevailed 108 to 101 in a tightly contested battle, Brooklyn point guard Spencer Dinwiddie had a strong reaction to a dubious foul call in the third quarter of the game.

As you can see, this certainly didn’t look like much of a foul, especially considering Dinwiddie had pretty much given up on defending Pelicans’ big man Jaxson Hayes when the foul was called. No matter, as the Nets still managed to hold on for a seven-point win on the road.

Dinwiddie is in the midst of his best overall season at age 26, and he is producing career-highs in points per game (21.0), field goal attempts per game (16.2) and Player Efficiency Rating all in the absence of Kyrie Irving.

The Nets are off on Wednesday but return to action on Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs.
