Forget all about the unending leaks of Genshin Impact info. The developers over at miHoYo finally showcased the incoming new content for the 1.5 Update. The special 1.5 showcase stream today confirmed some of the previously leaked information. Players get to roll for the new characters Eula and Yanfei. Additionally, the upcoming update holds several new weapons and artifacts, a daunting new boss, a brand new housing system, and much more exciting new content.
THE GENSHIN IMPACT SPECIAL SHOWCASE
miHoYo recently held an hour-long special program to show its players all the coming changes in Version 1.5. The program included the English voice actors from the game and tons of information. The program is in line with miHoYo's desire to stave people off of leaked information.
THE OFFICIAL 1.5 UPDATE
We finally get a proper look at the incoming characters Yanfei and Eula. Yanfei enters Genshin as a four-star Pyro catalyst-wielder. Eula, on the other hand, is a five-star Cryo claymore user. Additionally, the trailer for the 1.5 Update gave an extensive look at the previously-leaked incoming enemy boss. Evidently, the new boss monster has loads of dialogue which means it somehow ties into the overall story of the game. Players can get to explore more of its backstory once the update officially launches.
One key takeaway from the special program is the addition of a new residential system for players. Players get to create their own housing inside a magical teapot.
“To make your realm into a place you can call home, you will need to remodel it inside and out. Thankfully, Tubby, the teapot spirit will be on hand to help you with this task.”
The new system is allegedly named the “Serenitea Pot System.” miHoYo warned viewers that the details show in the trailer are still subject to change. However, the developers expanded more about the upcoming system in a PlayStation blog post. miHoYo studio technical director Zhenzhong Yi explained more about the fun ways you can expand and develop your own magical teapot.
“As you travel around Teyvat, you will discover various furnishing blueprints, which can be used to make furnishings for your home. The more furnishings you make, the more Trust you can earn from Tubby, and the more help and resources Tubby can offer in return. Once your Trust Rank is high enough, Tubby can even help you switch realm layouts.”
Naturally, miHoYo will officially release the details for the Serenitea Pot System once the details are finalized.

There's so much in store for players once Genshin Impact Version 1.5 launches. miHoYo obviously worked hard to develop and deliver a lot of exciting content for its loyal players. The game was repeatedly plagued with security issues and unrelenting leaks but the developers continue to move forward.
