The New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed on a draft-day trade. The Patriots are trading its No. 71 (third round), and 98 (third round) picks to the Ravens. In exchange, the Ravens are trading its No. 60 and No. 129 picks to the Patriots, according to ESPN'S Field Yates.

The Patriots used the 60th overall pick on an outside linebacker, selecting former Michigan star Josh Uche.

After losing Kyle Van Noy, Elandon Roberts, and Jamie Collins in free agency this offseason, the Patriots needed more depth at linebacker. By trading up for the 60th overall pick to selected Uche, it made the perfect sense for the Patriots.

This past season at Michigan, Uche recorded 33 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. In his three seasons at Michigan, he recorded a total of 52 tackles, 15.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. In addition, due to his astounding performance, Uche was selected to the All-Big Ten second-team.

As for the Ravens, they used the No. 71 overall pick on former Texas A&M DE Justin Maddubuike. Although he is undersized, he was still highly productive in his final seasons at Texas A&M. In the past two seasons, Maddubuike recorded 5.5 sacks each year and 10 tackles-for-loss.

The Ravens have done a tremendous job of revamping their defensive line this offseason. They've traded for defensive end Calais Campbell and signed defensive lineman Derek Wolfe. In addition, the Ravens brought back defensive tackle Jihad Ward and defensive end Justin Ellis.

Nevertheless, the Ravens run defense is expected to be the most stout in the years to come.
