In the last several weeks, there has been much made about soon-to-be Hall of Famer Terrell Owens is set to have his enshrinement ceremony away from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

There has been a lot of negative feedback directed at Owens for taking this route with this prestigious honor that has led to the Hall of Fame deciding to do not acknowledge the 44-year-old at all over that weekend next month. NFL insider Jay Glazer is the latest to chime in on the situation voiced to TMZ Sports his anger with what the former star wide receiver's actions

We got Jay leaving Craig's on Tuesday night and when the topic of T.O. came up … Glazer had a message for the ex-NFL star.

“It's not just about you, whatever your issues are, it's about everybody else around you!” he says.

This sentiment echoed by Glazer is one likely shared by many Pro Football Hall of Famers as it's a special moment for not only the players but the others that have helped the inductees get to that point. It is also a chance for them to talk and share the honor with the various others that have received that honor before them.

For many, it is the ultimate honor and validation for their careers in the league that has cemented their status. Owens is certainly among those deserving of this honor, but his decision to hold his own ceremony at his alma mater, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, takes away the attention and shine from the rest of his class that includes Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Randy Moss, and Brian Dawkins.

Ultimately, it is a decision that Owens has come to that he appears to be committed to despite all of this strong backlash toward the situation. As it the Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony for this year's class draws closer, the more feedback there will certainly be coming his way.
