Well, this is something different: apparently, the 2020 NFL Draft stage will be on the water at the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, and draftees will be brought to the stage via boat:

That's, uh, interesting.

The NFL Draft will begin on April 23 and will end on April 25.

With LSU quarterback Joe Burrow seeming like a lock to go No. 1 overall to the Cincinnati Bengals, his entrance will at least stir up some intrigue in what would otherwise be a drama-free selection.

Generally, people just pay attention to the way the players are dressed, but now, we will get to watch their reactions to see just how thrilled (or weirded out) they are to be boated to the NFL (I can't believe that is a sentence I just wrote).

Anyway, Burrow is coming off of what many consider to be the best season in NCAA history, as he threw for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and eight interceptions while completing 76.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 202 en route to leading the Tigers to a national championship.

In the national championship game win over Clemson, Burrow completed 31 of his 49 passes for 463 yards and five touchdowns while also rushing for 58 yards and a score, severely outshining Clemson signal-caller Trevor Lawrence.

The main strike against Burrow is the fact that he is already 23 years old and was a relative unknown before 2019 but based on his production this season, it's hard to argue that he should go anywhere other than first overall to the Bengals.

And on a boat, no less.
