Antonio Brown might finally be realizing he was in the wrong. The Oakland Raiders receiver started a bizarre social media feud with former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster when he randomly attacked Smith-Schuster for a crucial fumble he had late in the Pittsburgh Steelers' season.

On Monday, Brown then posted a screenshot on his Instagram of a message Smith-Schuster sent him while he was in college. In the message, Smith-Schuster just politely asked if Brown might have any tips or advice for him, and it's unclear what point Brown was trying to make.

Brown was widely criticized for his actions by fans, media, and fellow players, but initially didn't back down. He appears to finally be showing some contrition, as he's now deleted the Instagram post, per Bryan Deardo of 247Sports.

For what it's worth, he hasn't deleted the Tweet where he calls out Smith-Schuster for the fumble. It's unclear if Brown actually regrets the incident, and it's probably unlikely that he'll be apologizing anytime soon.

Smith-Schuster came out of the whole ordeal looking pretty good, and virtually nobody was on Brown's side. Players such as Eric Weddle and Justin Reid forcefully called out Brown on social media. In his initial Tweet about Smith-Schuster, Brown was responding to a Tweet that pointed out Smith-Schuster had been named Pittsburgh's team MVP in 2018.

There were reports at the time that Brown was bitter about not being named the team's MVP, and his Twitter antics will only add fuel to those rumors. It's too early to declare this beef squashed yet, but Brown's deletion was at least a step in the right direction.
