Former NFL journeyman Tim Tebow is getting another shot at the NFL, this time with the Jacksonville Jaguars as he reunites with former college coach Urban Meyer. However, this decision has been put on blast by many people around the league. Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson is the latest to chime in on the rather odd signing.

The Rams legend stated the obvious, claiming that it's complete nonsense that Tim Tebow, who tried his luck at a professional baseball career, is getting to play again over Colin Kaepernick, who has been out of the NFL for years strictly because of his stand against racism.

“Oh, man, come on,” Dickerson said about the Tim Tebow signing. “You know what I think about that. That's bullshit. That's bullshit,” per TMZ.

“That's bullshit,” Dickerson repeated for a third time about the Tim Tebow situation unfolding in Jacksonville. “That's how the NFL is. You know, it's different for us. I'll say that. Of course [Kaepernick] is getting punished. He's black. It's a different league for us. It's the truth and we know it. And I hate that because it's wrong.”

It's sad that Dickerson had to pull the race card but unfortunately, it's definitely played a part in Kaepernick's absence from football. While Tim Tebow hasn't officially signed a deal with the Jags yet, it's expected to be a one-year contract.

The former Florida standout isn't even playing QB, either. He's going to be a tight end, which makes this whole situation even more insane. Tebow hasn't played in an NFL game since 2012, while Kaepernick's last appearance was in 2016. He held a tryout in front of several teams last year, but no one opted to sign the former 49ers QB. Time will tell what happens with Tim Tebow and the Jaguars, though.
