Ken Burrough's family announced that he passed away at his home in Jacksonville. Burrough was a two-time Pro Bowler for the Oilers. The former wideout was drafted with the 10th pick by the New Orleans Saints in the 1971 NFL Draft before they traded him to Houston.

Burrough went on to play 11 seasons for the Oilers, leading the league in receiving yards in 1975 with 1,063. The former NFL wideout is among the franchise leaders in both receiving yards and touchdowns. Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk penned a heartfelt statement after Burrough's passing, via the team's Twitter account.

Clearly, Burrough was an influential figure in both the Titans and Oilers franchise history. As the Titans owner pointed out, he was known for making big plays down the field and for notably wearing the number 00, a uniform number that is no longer allowed in the NFL.

The NFL world and sports world's thoughts and prayers are with the family of former Oilers WR Ken Burrough after his passing.
