Star wide receiver and former New York Giant and Cleveland Brown, Odell Beckham, has officially been cleared from waivers and will test the free-agent market for the first time in his career.

Odell Beckham left the Cleveland Browns after some locker room issues. Odell claims that Browns' quarterback, Baker Mayfield, did not throw him the ball in situations that he can be successful. Odell's father came out with a lengthy video that showed the times that Mayfield missed his son when he was open. Odell did not have a touchdown on the season and had multiple games with less than 30 yards receiving.

It's clear that Odell was not playing to the best of his ability in Cleveland. A new start might be able to get the former superstar wide receiver back to his old ways.

Odell has made it clear that he wants to go to a contending team. Some reports have said that Odell wants to be a Green Bay Packer. If Odell does end up with the Packers it will be interesting to watch him and Aaron Rodgers go to work. Rodgers is arguably the greatest quarterback the NFL has ever seen and giving him a talented wide receiver like Beckham would strike fear in the rest of the NFL.

Odell should be picked up sometime soon. We will have more updates on the situation when they become available.
