Pat McAfee is one hell of an entertainer. Every NFL fan knows this: back when he was playing, the former Indianapolis Colts punter always had a flair for the dramatic. That helped him transition well into the media world, where he became one of the most notable NFL personalities on TV.

However, not even the most enthusiastic NFL fan could've expected Pat McAfee to put on a magnificent show during Wrestlemania 38. Against a rising star in Austin Theory, the ex-Colts punter looked like a veteran in the ring, performing like he's been doing this his entire career.

That includes this incredibly clean backflip off of the top rope, and then a clean jump to the top rope to throw Theory. Who said NFL punters aren't athletic? (via uSTADIUM)

Pat McAfee would seal his victory with an incredible reversal on Theory to pin him, shocking Vince McMahon and the entire crowd.

But the fun doesn't stop there for the ex-NFL punter. Pat McAfee would then get into it with the WWE CEO, and would fight against each other until they were interrupted by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Yes, THAT Steve Austin. Austin would eventually hit McAfee with his signature Stunner, which the latter sold incredibly well. (via WWE)

All in all, this was an awesome Wrestlemania showing from McAfee, who is quickly becoming one of the most entertaining sports figures today. He fit in well in the WWE landscape, showing off his athleticism while being theatrical and making sure the fans had a good time watching him. Don't be surprised if the punter gets more screen time in the pro wrestling scene.
