Well, if it wasn't on, it certainly is now. Prior to the start of Sunday evening's Super Bowl LIII matchup in Atlanta, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay exchanged a few words, with the conversation no doubt surrounding nothing but football.

The most surprising piece of this photo is no doubt the subtle smiles on the faces of each head coach, especially for Belichick.

This is, of course, not the first meeting between these two great football minds while the respect is surely mutual. In fact, McVay recently said that Belichick texted him after just about every game this season.

“Yeah, I think that got a little overblown where I was just so appreciative of somebody of his nature to just take the time and send a text after we had won a game earlier in this year,” said McVay, via 247 Sports. “And to get a chance to have the platform to get a chance to be able to meet people, like Coach Belichick, that are willing to share and help. That means a lot. And when you look at these guys and what they have done in terms of consistency, where that's really the truest measure of performance, and nobody has done it better than they have over the last handful of years. And that's why you have so much respect and appreciation for them.”

The Patriots and Rams will now battle it out under the direction of McVay and Belichick in what will surely become a memorable affair.
