Although Tom Brady announced his retirement, speculation continues to grow that he'll return to the NFL at some point. The latest tidbit of possibility was found after Cristiano Ronaldo simply asked Brady if he's finished. At this point, who knows what the legendary quarterback is going to do? For that reason, we're bound to hear these rumors for the next 10 years.

According to Ari Meirov, Cristiano Ronaldo asked Tom Brady point-blank, “You're finished right?” The superstar quarterback responded, which is difficult to make out what was said. However, Brady's facial expression might point to a possible return to the NFL.

James Palmer points out Tom Brady's facial expression to Ronaldo's question as well. It's clear as day that Brady seems undecided on whether or not he is actually retired from the NFL. Based on how well he's played in his mid-40s, there is reason to believe he could return to Tampa Bay for at least one more year.

Of course, this is all speculation, as it's impossible to know exactly what Tom Brady said. Regardless, his answer was not “a firm no,” per Mike Garafolo. Brady just as easily could have uttered something along the lines of “probably” in response to Cristiano Ronaldo, but again, this is purely speculation. Even so, it feels like we'll be hearing these types of rumors until the NFL superstar provides a more clear statement.

Since retiring from the NFL, Tom Brady has continuously left the door open for a possible return. It doesn't seem likely, but at the end of the day, we'll be all ears for any speculation of his return to the league. If he chooses to come back, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the rights to his NFL contract.

With that said, it's safe to assume Tom Brady may not unretire, but there is always going to be a sliver of a possibility.
