The Arizona Cardinals didn't have a good 2019 to look back on. However, they have a shining hope in Kyler Murray who has put up a respectable rookie performance. He will want to end his first full NFL campaign on a good note by playing and winning over the Los Angeles Rams.

Murray suffered a hamstring injury that pulled him out of the Cardinals' narrow loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but the injury wasn't serious enough for Cardinals fans to have any serious concern over the health of their future superstar.

Given that there's nothing left to play for this season, it's very plausible for the Cardinals coaching staff to shut him down this season in consideration of his health. However, the rookie himself has expressed his desire to play every single game of his rookie campaign.

Via Kyle Odegard of the Arizona Cardinals:

“I want to finish the season out strong,” said Murray, who at this point believes he will play in Los Angeles. “Right now, obviously, I’m hopeful to play, (although) I’m not dying over it. I think any competitor wants to play a game, especially being my rookie season, being the last one, having that bad taste in my mouth from that last game.”

He tried his best to erase all doubts surrounding his condition, saying that he wouldn't force himself if he can't actually play.

“I’m going to be smart, regardless of the situation, understanding that if I can’t be myself, I’m not going to put myself out there,” Murray said. “I’m not going to hurt the team in that way. But if I can go, I’m going to go.”

The 2018 Heisman winner had a solid rookie season stat-wise, notching 3397 passing yards and 18 touchdowns in 15 starts. If he gets to play against the Rams, hitting the 3500 mark is not out of the question.
