The 2017 NFL season was cut short by a groin injury while he was still with the Indianapolis Colts. Fortunately, things are looking up in his healing process this offseason.

Not only is Davis getting a fresh start with the Buffalo Bills, but his injury does not seem to be a concern going into organized team activities next week. As a result, he is pegged to be a full participant, according to Nick Veronica of the Buffalo News:

“Everything is good, man,” Davis said. “I’m making tremendous strides, tremendous progress. I’m on schedule to go, we’re going into OTAs next week. There’s no limitation, I’m able to do everything.”

The news is certainly music to the ears of Bills fans everywhere. Buffalo already possed one of the most formidable defensive units in the league last season, which was largely the reason they made it to the playoffs.

The addition of Davis helps bring some more veteran experience to the secondary. Although he may be coming off a down year due to injury, Davis has still established himself as one of the more dependable options at cornerback. As a result, the two-time Pro Bowler garnered plenty of interest from a number of teams looking to add a starting-caliber player. Fortunately, the Bills were able to sign him to a one-year, $5 million deal.

Given his pedigree, it is very likely that he will start opposite of promising cornerback Tre'Davious White. That dais, next week should determine whether or not he will truly have no limits in practice.
