The Buffalo Bills have found a way to reel in some solid veterans in the hopes of getting over the hump to finally win a Super Bowl. We'll see if it pays off, but only time will tell. One of those star players the franchise acquired is Von Miller, for which, Stefon Diggs is taking the recruiting credit.
According to Jon Scott, Diggs was recruiting Miller right before the trade deadline last season. In the end, Von Miller wound up being traded to the Los Angeles Rams, where he made a solid impact during the playoff run. However, it sounds like Stefon Diggs made another recruiting push to reel in the veteran star pass rusher once the season came to an end.
Stefon Diggs says he started pitching the #Bills to Von Miller right before trade deadline last season.
Reconnected in LA after season and really made push to Miller that he could be the piece to push them over the top.

Stefon Diggs might have been the reason why the Bills reeled in Von Miller. NFL teams are not technically allowed to communicate with free agents until the free agency window opens. However, the rules say nothing about current players recruiting free agents. Thanks to Diggs' efforts, Buffalo has an improved defensive line for the 2022 season, per Sal Capaccio.
Diggs: “I was working behind the scenes on that for a little while.” – on recruiting Von Miller to Buffalo, saying it started right after the season.

With multiple teams in the AFC stacked beyond belief, the road to the Super Bowl will be a grueling process. The Bills will have their work cut out for them after the Miami Dolphins made drastic improvements. Regardless, Buffalo is the team to beat in the AFC East and they'll be in good hands with Josh Allen under center.
Keep an eye on the Bills this year, as they should be one of the best teams in the league. Von Miller brings a ton of experience to the table. As long as he's healthy, Buffalo should be able to be even better on defense than last season.
