The match is set to tee off at 7 P.M. Eastern and the trash-talking has continued throughout. On Wednesday, there was a bit of friendly fire delivered by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Luckily Josh Allen took it light-heartedly, but Buffalo Bills fans might not be so open-minded.
While being interviewed by JJ Watt, Mahomes was asked, “What is Josh Allen's biggest fear?” After a short pause, the Chiefs quarterback delivered a brutal blow, stating that Allen's biggest fear is a “coin toss.” These quarterbacks are supposed to be teammates, but Patrick Mahomes clearly had fun digging at Josh Allen.

Allen not happy, comes back with: "Pat's biggest fear is letting me down on the course today."

The coin toss is a pleasant reminder for Chiefs fans. However, for Bills fans, it's more of a nightmare. The league has a strange overtime rule that has received criticism over the years. After Buffalo lost the coin toss in the playoffs, Kansas City was able to march the field, score a touchdown, and win the game immediately. Perhaps the NFL will change the overtime rule one day, but for now, we're stuck having to watch one of, if not, the worst overtime formats in all of sports.
Regardless, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen clearly have no hard feelings towards each other as they prepare to take on Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers in The Match. The trash-talking will continue throughout, as the four superstar quarterbacks face off in one of the year's most entertaining golf matches. Maybe Chiefs and Bills fans can get along for at least one day then.
Make sure to tune into The Match on TNT at 7 P.M Eastern.
