As the NFL schedule slowly leaks out ahead of the full release on Wednesday, we have found out that the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills will square off in Week 11 at 4:25 ET on CBS, according to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.

This matchup between the Chiefs and Bills will take place in Buffalo. It will be a rematch of last year's divisional playoff game, which the Chiefs won. This has been one of the best matchups over the last few years, and the game will take place in a big spot once again this season.

It will be interesting to see who comes out on top this time. The Chiefs, of course, are the two-time defending Super Bowl champions. The foundational players like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones are still in place and should help Kansas City contend again this season. There are also other interesting additions like Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy to help boost the wide receiver room in comparison to last year.

The Bills saw a lot of departures this offseason. Several players on the defensive side of the ball are gone, and the biggest name that left was Stefon Diggs, who was a star receiver for several years and helped Josh Allen break out as a star in the league. Buffalo will look a lot different in comparison to prior years, while Kansas City will look very similar.

Regardless, the quarterback matchup stays the same, as arguably the top two in the league in Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will square off once again. It would be a surprise if this was not a great game once again.

Bills vs Chiefs in recent years

Since Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have taken over as the starting quarterbacks for their teams, the Bills and Chiefs have faced off seven times when taking into account the regular season and playoffs.

The first matchup was in 2020, when the Chiefs defeated the Bills 26-17 in Buffalo. Later that season, the Chiefs beat the Bills 38-24 in the AFC Championship game. That was the first season that Allen performed at the level that we are used to seeing.

In 2021, the Bills beat the Chiefs 38-20 in Kansas City on Sunday Night Football in the regular season, but went on to lose the instant classic overtime game in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. That playoff game is likely the biggest missed opportunity for the Bills in recent memory, as they blew a lead with seconds to go.

In 2022, the Bills beat the Chiefs again in the regular season, winning 24-20 in Kansas City. The two teams did not meet in the playoffs, as Buffalo lost to the Cincinnati Bengals at home in the divisional round that year while the Chiefs went on to win the Super Bowl.

Last season, the teams matched up twice, and once again the Bills won the regular season matchup, while the Chiefs won in the postseason.

The Bills have beaten the Chiefs, but just not in the playoffs. This time, the regular season matchup will be in Buffalo. While not much will matter for Bills fans until the team overcomes the Chiefs in the playoffs, this regular season matchup could be a huge one for seeding in the AFC, as it is every season.
