The Carolina Panthers are deploying one of the more unique offenses in the NFL right now, and just about nobody is pleased with it. Head coach Matt Rhule seemingly has no idea what direction he wants to go in terms of the franchise's starting quarterback, opting to use two different QBs instead of naming one as a starter. Both PJ Walker and Cam Newton saw reps at quarterback on Sunday, and Walker has now spoken up with his thoughts on splitting the position, via Jim Szoke.

It's easy to see why Walker is upset, and he's absolutely right to be critical of Rhule's bizarre decision. A quarterback needs the opportunity to get a feel for the defense in order to best pick it apart, and constantly shuffling between who's under center only makes that task more difficult on both Walker and Newton.

With the impending return of Sam Darnold, the situation in the QB room in Carolina is set to get even messier. If one thing's clear, however, it's that none of the involved parties seem to be thrilled about the way Rhule is handling things.

On Sunday, Newton was given the start and played for much of the first half, however, he was benched in the second quarter in favor of Walker. Despite his benching, Newton returned in the second half for a few drives, only to once again get replaced by Walker after turning the football over.

Newton finished the game having completed 15-of-23 pass attempts for 178 yards and an interception. Walker, on the other hand, completed 6-of-12 passes for 75 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The Panthers are due to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, where Rhule will likely utilize his two-QB system once again.
