It has been a roller-coaster 2017 NFL season for the Kansas City Chiefs. However, it seems they now have finally gotten the end result they wanted.

Both the Chiefs and Miami Dolphins entered Week 16 with some serious playoff implications on the line. Kansas City ultimately managed to follow through with a solid 29-13 victory. The win gave the Chiefs their first back-to-back AFC West division titles in franchise history while officially eliminating the Dolphins from the postseason.

The historic feat did not come easy for Kansas City. They started off the year firing on all cylinders and projected to be one of the most high-powered offenses in the league at one point. Needless to say, it was not long before they quickly started to flounder during their four-game losing streak in November.

Not only did their skid raise questions about quarterback Alex Smith as the starter, but it also allowed teams like the Los Angeles Chargers and Oakland Raiders to come within striking distance of the Chiefs' lead in the division.

Fortunately, Kansas City managed to get back on track by winning their last three games to help them close out the year. More importantly, the offense has gone back to its dynamic roots with rookie phenom Kareem Hunt and the electrifying Tyreek Hill.
