After a 3-1 start to the season, the Cleveland Browns have now dropped to the .500 mark following their lowly 15-10 home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.

For the most part, defensive end Myles Garrett and the Browns defense did what they could to help keep the team in the game. The unit held the Ben Roethlisberger-led Steelers offense to a mere four third down conversions recorded. More so, the Steelers scored touchdowns on only two out of their four red zone drives.

On the other side of the ball, the Browns had a difficult time in orchestrating multiple promising drives on offense, which marred their struggles on the day.

Garrett had a potent showing in the contest as he recorded four tackles and one sack. But at the end of the day, stats do not mean much to him if the Browns can not secure a win in the game.

After the game, Garrett noted on just where it went wrong for Cleveland.

“It's not fun, definitely a winnable game for us and we didn't do it,” Garrett said. “We didn't execute like we needed to. We had a good game on defense but not good enough.

“Nobody is happy … we gotta go back to the drawing board and keep on working.”

Garrett also shared his optimistic mindset that the Browns still have plenty of time to turn the tide on their campaign.

“We got nine more games,” Garrett said. “The crown in the AFC is kind of up in the air, at least in the AFC North.”

The Browns currently sit at last place in the AFC North with a 4-4 record. They have a major test upcoming in Week 9 with the road matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
