The legal issues surrounding Cleveland Browns star quarterback Deshaun Watson have been hanging over the NFL like a dark cloud for the better part of a year. Watson, who faced two grand juries after being accused by 22 women of sexual misconduct, was not indicted on any criminal charges. However, the Pro Bowl quarterback might not be out of the proverbial legal woods yet. ESPN has the latest details on Watson's legal issues.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson must say whether he had sex with 18 massage therapists who supported him last year following criminal complaints and lawsuits from other women, a judge in Texas ruled Tuesday.
Per ESPN, Watson “must say whether he had sex with 18 massage therapists”, as ruled by a Texas judge. The Browns star has 30 days to comply.
Watson's past with these massage therapists is something he has previously been unwilling to discuss. While he won't face criminal charges, he still has to answer to civil lawsuits filed by former therapists, who are seeking “written requests for admission” on if he had any sexual encounters with them.

If his seemingly never-ending legal issues weren't enough, there's also the matter of a potential punishment levied by the NFL. Watson, 25, has made three Pro Bowls in four seasons, throwing for 14,539 yards, 104 touchdowns and 36 interceptions.
His talent is undeniable. However, it's clear that Watson's legal issues are going to cause headaches all year long for the Browns. The star quarterback isn't in the clear yet.
