The Cleveland Browns have been on the receiving end of a ton of hype this offseason. The Browns showed well down the stretch last season, and Baker Mayfield looked like a star in the making. They then went out and made some splashy acquisitions, like adding Odell Beckham Jr., Olivier Vernon, and Kareem Hunt.
There's a ton of excitement in Cleveland for the first time in a long time, and now they'll have to live up to all the hype. Beckham raised some eyebrows recently when he said he wanted to turn the Browns into the new Patriots, and he received some backlash. Beckham's comments obviously weren't meant super seriously, and they got blown out of proportion.
Some people apparently saw them as the Browns getting ahead of themselves, and new head coach Freddie Kitchens had to respond to those comments when addressing the media Wednesday.

Kitchens clearly isn't bothered by the comments, and even shares the sentiment. The whole thing was pretty innocent, although it does reveal an interesting dynamic. The Browns haven't had any expectations for a while now, and it will be very interesting to see how they respond to the added pressure.
Teams often crumble under the weight of expectations, but the Browns are obviously embracing their role as the league's hot new team. Whatever happens, they'll be one of the most fun teams to watch this season.
