Heading into the season opener, Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Josh Gordon is set to embark on his first full season in the league since the 2013 campaign.
However, he has been hampered a bit over the last couple of weeks due to a leg injury that limited his availability in practice and the preseason. According to Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram, Gordon has voiced that he has no lingering effects from his previous injury and expects to be a full go despite not being a starter.
#Browns Josh Gordon said he has no limitations, is 100 percent. Believes he can have big impact vs. #Steelers even without starting.

This certainly a promising sign for the Browns, who are hoping that Gordon will be a major factor on the field this upcoming season as a primary asset in the passing game. The team has been operating in a precautionary manner over the last couple of weeks to ensure that he will be able to take the field for the season opener without any setbacks occurring the process.
Gordon had shown much in his limited action this past season in five games played as he made 18 catches on 43 targets for 335 receiving yards and a touchdown. Although it was a brief time on the field, Gordon had shown that he has plenty left in the tank to perform at a high level that he was prior to the lengthy suspension that he served due to violating the league’s substance-abuse policy multiple times. This upcoming season is a chance for him to prove that he is one of the top wide receivers in the league.
Although he isn't starting against the Steelers, Gordon should have plenty of chances to make a significant impact on the field in the passing game. It may simply be on him to take advantage of the situations that will be in front of him to help guide his team a win for the first time back in December 2016.
