A 23rd woman came forward and filed a civil suit against Deshaun Watson. After watching the HBO interviews, she felt motivated enough to stand up. It's unclear exactly how the NFL will punish the Cleveland Browns quarterback, as he continues to claim he is an innocent man. However, new teammate Myles Garrett shares his take on the Watson controversy.
According to Nate Ulrich, Garrett is essentially staying out of the situation altogether. The Browns' star defensive end claims it's none of his business and only cares about whether or not Deshaun Watson plays. This is likely a smart decision for Garrett, as commenting on the situation would only be a losing battle for him.

While focusing on the “character” of Deshaun Watson, Myles Garrett has spent a limited amount of time with the Browns' new quarterback. Even so, Garrett claims Watson is a “good guy from what I've seen.” Additionally, Cleveland's defensive star is not going to provide an opinion on Watson, stating he is, “not the judge, jury, or executioner,” per Nate Ulrich.

It is a tricky situation for Myles Garrett. If he criticizes Deshaun Watson, he risks hurting team chemistry and support from the fanbase (although, public opinion on him would increase). If Garrett supports Watson fully, then the Browns' star defensive end could face a ton of backlash from the public. Considering his reputation took a hit after attempting to bash Mason Rudolph's face with a helmet, Garrett's best move is to stay out of the Deshaun Watson situation.
More information regarding Watson should be released shortly. The league has conducted its own investigation and will be delivering a punishment soon. It'll be interesting to see how many games the Browns quarterback will be suspended for, as the NFL has a history of sweeping sexual and domestic abuse under the rug.
