Many have taken some sort of inspiration from Giannis Antetokounmpo's heroics in leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a long-awaited NBA championship win, including Cleveland Browns star Odell Beckham Jr.

Antetokounmpo silenced many doubters over the Bucks' 2021 NBA Finals series against the Phoenix Suns, where he posted multiple 40-point games and had several highlight-reel plays along the way. The two-time NBA MVP winner proved that even in the era of superteams, a superstar talent can win a championship without multiple future Hall of Fame players.

The Bucks' title win showed that a small market team can build a championship-winning side over time. The Bucks had to undergo adversity along the way, which is where Beckham and his Browns team are currently at now.

Beckham sees that just as Antetokounmpo and the Bucks overcame the odds to win a championship for the first time in 50 years, the Browns can also string together a promising season where they end their notable title drought as well, which dates back to 1964. And even as the Browns took a major step last season with their first playoff appearance in over a decade, he has that desire to win multiple Super Bowls over his current tenure with the team.

During his youth football camp on Sunday, Beckham took some time to touch on the Browns' aspirations for the upcoming season.

“It's just something that feels special about this team,” Beckham said. “As I said when I first got here, I wanted it to be like the Patriots. You want to win Super Bowls. I watched [Cleveland] compete last year, and the one game that hurt me the most is watching Kansas City and feeling like, man, I know that I could have made one play, just something to help the team win.

“I think that there's something special going on. There's something special with this city. Watching the Bucks win a championship inspires you even more. Cleveland needs a championship, and I think that's the goal, that's the mentality in that building and that's what I want to be a part of.”

Odell Beckham Jr. is coming off of an injury-riddled season as he suffered a torn ACL last October. Still, he is expected to be available for the Browns' Week 1 opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.

It will be noteworthy to see whether the Browns will be able to soon join the Bucks in ending a notable championship drought.
