Since his arrival with the Dallas Cowboys, former Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper has continued to make a tremendous impact on the field for the franchise.

This saw him put together the best outing of his brief tenure with the Cowboys in the 31-23 win over the Washington Redskins, as he hauled in eight catches for 180 receiving yards along with a pair of touchdowns. This standout performance helped him earn the NFC Offensive Player of the Week Honors for Week 12.

Cooper has been a huge factor in the Cowboys' offensive game plan, stepping firmly into the role of being their top receiving threat in the passing game.

It was something that they drastically lacked prior to his arrival as the team struggled to put points on the board, while it made star running back Ezekiel Elliott's job in the running game a bit more difficult.

He has been everything and more that Dallas had hoped he could be in their offense as he has tallied 22 receptions for 349 receiving yards and three touchdowns in four games played. That has already surpassed his level of production in the first six contests played with the Oakland Raiders this year, as he had 22 receptions for 280 receiving yards and a touchdown in those games.

Cooper has shown that he has the big-play ability that can change the course of a game as he put on display against the Redskins with 90-yard and 40-yard touchdowns in the contest.

The Cowboys are going to continue to rely on Cooper to provide major production in the passing game. Dallas is hoping that they can make a late-season push to the playoffs and possibly even win the NFC East division.

This will all begin with a tough task against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night.
