The Dallas Cowboys lost a tough game to the Arizona Cardinals. It ended in controversy, as the referees missed a fumble call that would have given Dallas the ball back late in the fourth quarter. That was on top of multiple bad or missed calls throughout the contest. For that reason, Mike McCarthy sounded off on the officials.

According to ESPN, the officials in Sunday's game called 10 penalties on the Cowboys, accumulating in 88 yards. Four of those were holding penalties that prevented two first-down runs from coming to fruition. CeeDee Lamb responds to the officiating in their matchup against the Cardinals.

“It's just we couldn't get a rhythm. The refs wouldn't let us get a rhythm,” wide receiver CeeDee Lamb said.

It sounds like most of the Cowboys franchise is displeased with the NFL officiating crew. Even Demarcus Lawrence claimed, “I'm gonna let the NFL handle that. I know it's a possibility we see both of these teams in the playoffs. You know hopefully the NFL can sit down with their team, review the film, learn from their mistakes and get better from it.”

We'll see what happens, but the officiating in the NFL seems to have gotten worse over the years. Not just in the Cowboys' loss to the Cardinals, but in most games, there's at least one glaring mistake made by the referees. It's getting out of hand and it's ridiculous.

For now, the Cowboys suffer the loss and move onto Week 18. Hopefully, the league takes notice of the multiple complaints and make some changes. For now, make sure to catch the Cowboys next game as they hope to earn a win to get back on track.
