Dallas Cowboys superstar running back Ezekiel Elliott has had a very interesting offseason. It really started to kick off with that whole “party” situation.

Elliott and teammate (quarterback Dak Prescott) were at a party that seemed to not exactly be adhering to the social distancing rules. It certainly had well over 10 people.

Elliott wants the NFL to layout their plan to the players. Tell them how they will ensure everyone's safety.

The Cowboys star made it clear that he does want a season. That being said, he wants it to all be done right.

Players, coaches and personnel all have family. And it's hard to imagine they would be able to forgive themselves if they gave the sickness to a child, spouse, parent or any loved one. Especially if those people are immunocompromised.

Elliott is one of the best running backs in the league. In fact, it is not a stretch to say he is one of the best players in the entire NFL, regardless of position.

Due to that, him bringing this up is big news. He has a larger audience. And if he ends up not being happy with how the league handles this entire situation, things could get messy. Especially considering he likely would not be the only one that felt that way.

For now though, Elliott seems optimistic that the season will happen. And he's set to be ready to go when that time comes.
