There are questions if Randy Gregory will play in the Dallas Cowboys second preseason game on Saturday night but one thing is for sure, he looks like he is ready to go. Gregory has missed 30 of the last 32 games and is probably on his last chance in the league. He is excited to get out on the field and told reporters that he is feeling like a rookie again.
“I feel like a rookie again,” Gregory said, via David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. “Just going through the basics, getting in the stance, getting off the ball, the keys, just the plays, everything that’s involved. It’s kind of humbling, but it’s fun.
“I’m just curious to see how I do in a game.”
With Gregory missing so many games the Cowboys are easing him back to action which means he might miss the second preseason game but he has shown flashes during his four practices this training camp which makes many believe he is going to have a huge year. Gregory was a second-round pick in 2015 but has had all kinds of issues staying out of trouble and staying on the field.

“There’s no question he’s done a really nice job, done a really good job with his rehab, done a really good job when he’s had full practices,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. “He’s gone against our No. 1 offense line, and he’s really held up well, both in the run and rushing the passer.”
