After the Houston Texans lost Will Fuller for the season the team decided to trade for Demaryius Thomas and quarterback Deshaun Watson thinks the team should continue to roll with him under center. Watson know's Thomas is a veteran and should be able to pick up on everything quickly.

“Nothing, really, should stop the train,” Watson said Wednesday via Sarah Barshop of ESPN. “[Thomas] is a veteran guy who can do a lot of different things. And he's played a lot of football, so it's a great opportunity for all of us to get on the same page and continue to put a lot of yards in the air and put a lot of points on the board.”

The Texans got off to a slow start to the season but have won five games straight and currently sit in first place in AFC South. The South is a wide-open division so as long as Watson and the offense continue to play well they should be able to control the division. Watson has 36 catches for 402 yards and three touchdowns so far this year and although he will miss Denver, he is excited for his new chance with the Texans.

“I think it's a great opportunity for me,” Thomas said. “Change can be good, it can be bad. But I think it's going to be good here. I'm excited to get to work and see what I can do to help this squad out.”

Thomas and the Texans will travel back to Denver to play the Broncos on Sunday afternoon.
