The Indianapolis Colts are off to a rough 0-2 start this season, and quarterback Carson Wentz injured both of his ankles in Week 2. While Wentz is officially going to give it a go on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, there are still plenty of question marks surrounding the quarterback. These questions aren't just about Wentz's ankles, but his COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy as well, with Colts owner Jim Irsay actually calling it out when discussing the quarterback's status for Sunday.

Via PFT's Mike Florio:

“He has to stay healthy. You know, no one’s hiding behind the M.O. of the past. That was there, and you know since we you know came here and going through the months we’ve been through, there’s been difficulties. And it also makes it difficult if you’re not vaccinated, you know, because it makes it harder to depend on someone if they’re not vaccinated. So they have freedom of choice and we understand that.”

The Colts quarterback was openly defiant about getting the COVID-19 vaccine before the regular season, and he missed some time after having close contact with an infected person. It's clear Irsay isn't a fan of the decision, and it's interesting that he decided to bring it up when talking about Wentz's ankle injuries.

While it seems this will remain a sore spot in the organization, the Colts are hoping Wentz can perform well on the field against Tennessee. A loss to drop to 0-3 on the young season would be disastrous for Indy.
