The Colts improved to 9-6 with the win, remaining in the thick of the AFC Wild Card race.
The Baltimore Ravens—also 9-6—currently hold the second AFC Wild Card spot by way of tiebreakers. Indianapolis is also tied with the 9-6 Tennessee Titans.
The Colts will face off against the Titans in an AFC South showdown in Tennessee next weekend.
For Hooker, it was his second interception of the season. He has also registered 41 tackles, a fumble recovery, and a couple of passes defended.
Hooker, who played his collegiate football at Ohio State University, was originally selected by Indianapolis in the first round (15th pick overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Hooker's first season was littered with injuries, as he was recovering from shoulder surgery going into training camp and then suffered a groin injury which sidelined him for the preseason. Then, after seven games, Hooker tore his ACL and his MCL, knocking him out for the remainder of the 2017 campaign.
He ended up finishing with 21 tackles, three interceptions and four passes defended last year.
The Colts are looking to make it back to the playoffs for the first time since 2014, when they made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game before being routed by the New England Patriots.
Indy made the playoffs three years in a row from 2012 through 2014.
