Coming off another Super Bowl appearance, the Kansas City Chiefs are ready to continue making the team better. With no first-round pick after trading for Pro Bowl left tackle Orlando Brown Jr., this pick becomes even more important. Obviously having the roster they have including Patrick Mahomes already has them as a Super Bowl contender. However, if they are able to improve the team even more it will be hard for the rest of the league to stop.

For a team fresh off a Super Bowl appearance, there are quite a few positions the Chiefs can improve at. The offensive and defensive lines are evident as shown in the Super Bowl. Mahomes was running around the whole game as protection broke down easily. On the defensive end, they were only able to get 4 quarterback pressures on Tom Brady. Linebacker is also in play for Kansas City as they have a lack of depth at the position.

3. LSU LB Jabril Cox

Jabril Cox would give the Chiefs an unreal athlete at linebacker. He's a great coverage linebacker as he played over 350 snaps in coverage last season without giving up a penalty or touchdown. He fills the Chiefs profile of a player they would take as they love to take unreal athletes. He had 58 tackles including 6.5 tackles for loss and a sack. Cox also added 3 interceptions including one he returned for a touchdown.

2. Notre Dame OT Liam Eichenberg

It's no secret Kansas City needs to improve the offensive line. The additions of Orlando Brown Jr. and Joe Thuney help a lot but they still need more. Eichenberg would be a great fit for the Chiefs if he falls to their pick. He projects to be a right tackle in the NFL and with the right coaching, he will be a great one.

He's great at picking up blitzes and stunt moves from pass rushers. He already possesses great technique in the position to go along with his outstanding vision. Eichenberg could elevate the Chiefs' offensive line to the top of the league along with the new additions. Kansas City would not be disappointed with this selection.

1. Oklahoma DE Ronnie Perkins

Four quarterback pressures are not going to cut it against great teams. Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers steamrolled the Chiefs in the Super Bowl and there are issues to be addressed. Getting an edge rusher is a very essential move that needs to be made. Ronnie Perkins would be a great option for them.

His acceleration and great first step help him get pressure with ease. He may not be a household name and some may consider this a reach but he would fit perfectly in Kansas City. Alongside Chris Jones and Frank Clark, Perkins would be able to instantly make an impact. He is a relentless pass rusher that gives his full effort every play. Kansas City would not regret picking Perkins and improving their pass rush.

Whatever way the Chiefs decide to go, they need to improve these positions to help the team improve even more.
