The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12, pitting Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes against one another. While preparing for the Chiefs, Brady spoke about the prospects of facing a player as talented as Mahomes.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs come into the game with an impressive 9-1 record, with their high-flying offense hitting their stride. Mahomes himself is the frontrunner for the NFL's MVP award, having thrown for 3,035 yards, 27 touchdowns and only two interceptions through Week 11.

When speaking about Mahomes, Tom Brady pointed out that not many quarterbacks are capable of tossing 50 touchdowns in a single season—as Mahomes did during the 2018 season. However, Brady has also thrown 50 touchdowns in a season, completing 50 touchdowns during the 2007 campaign.

Of course, Brady is now 43 years old and is still trying to get on the same page as his new wide receivers on the Buccaneers. Just a week ago, Brady struggled against the Los Angeles Rams, finishing with 216 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Despite the hiccups he's had in certain weeks, Brady has still thrown 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions this season for the Buccaneers. Earlier this week, Mahomes had high praise for the future Hall of Fame quarterback, saying he's “not on Brady's level” just yet.

Mahomes is well on his way to being one of the most dominant quarterbacks in NFL history, especially after winning his first Super Bowl last season.
