Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark hasn't lit up the stat sheet to start the season, but he knows his production will come. Through the first three games, Clark only has one sack and one quarterback hit, but he isn't going to change what he is doing.

It has been disappointing that the stats aren't there, but he knows if he keeps working hard, at some point the sacks are going to come in bunches.

“It’s nothing new with sacks, but I understand that they come in bunches,” Clark said, via the Kansas City Star. “They come over time. You just have to stay consistent in your action and what you’re doing. Right now, I’m more focused on winning, and I feel like that’s what we’re doing. I feel like we’re playing good team ball.”

Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and head coach Andy Reid have also noted that they aren't too concerned because he is getting double-teamed, which has opened up more production for others on the defense.

Clark has also come up big in big spots and has made his production really count. Clark's sack came against the Baltimore Ravens and came at a big time when they were driving. Instead of continuing to try and go for a touchdown, the Ravens had to settle for a field goal and it was a turning point in the game.

The Chiefs play the Lions on Sunday and it will be another opportunity for Clark to wreak some havoc on an opponents offensive line.
