After being tabbed as one of the favorites in the AFC heading into the season, there is now relative concern on the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs came away with one of their worst losses in quite a while in Week 7, as they suffered a 27-3 road defeat to the Tennessee Titans. The Chiefs did not have much to go their way over the course of the game, from quarterback Patrick Mahomes failing to throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season to the eight third down conversions allowed to the Titans offense.
For a head coach who has been accustomed to success on a season-by-season basis over his current run with the Chiefs, Andy Reid sure is coming away from this loss in sheer disappointment, which he touched on following the game.

Reid is still much confident that his team will soon be able to turn it around following one sluggish 3-4 start to the campaign. But if the Chiefs aspire to do just that, Reid sees several areas that his team must work to polish on over the coming weeks.
“We really need to get both sides playing well,” Reid said. “We've got to eliminate the turnovers, the penalties. It starts with me for how we played today.
“I trust the locker room. We've got to make sure we hang together and get it fixed.
“They're down. They just got beat. That's not a real good feeling. These are proud guys & they want to do well.”
The Chiefs will have a golden opportunity to begin to pile up crucial wins at this point in the campaign, as five of their next six games will be at home. But for now, much talk over this week will certainly center on just where it has gone wrong for the reigning AFC champions so far in the campaign.
