Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is reportedly set for upcoming interviews with the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, and Cincinnati Bengals.
Bieniemy is certainly garnering interest from a lot of teams right now, and that makes sense considering how much success he's had since joining the Chiefs back in 2013.
He spent four years as the team's running backs coach before taking over as offensive coordinator this season, with the results pretty much speaking for themselves in what's been a monster year for the Kansas City offense.
Now, he will be a part of the interview process for various teams, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
#Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy is set to interview with two teams today — #Jets and #Bucs. He’ll do his #Dolphins interview tomorrow. The #Bengals interview is Friday, following Vance Joseph’s today. He’s elected to not take the #AZCardinals interview. Four is plenty.

Bieniemy doesn't have any head coaching experience at this point in his career, but it seems inevitable that he'll have a chance to land a head job at some point in the near future.
The Chiefs have become one of the most entertaining teams in the NFL due to the excellent offensive display by Patrick Mahomes and company, and that's why they're currently sitting at the No. 1 seed in the AFC heading into the playoffs.
Kansas City will now get an opportunity to relax a little before preparing for its divisional round matchup on Jan. 12, with the opponent still to be decided.
It's never ideal for a coordinator to be involved in a coaching search at this stage of the season, but when a team is having the type of success that the Chiefs are happening, it comes with the territory.
