Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes has made Trevon Diggs' son Aaiden's Christmas an unforgettable one.

Aaiden is the four-year-old son of Dallas Cowboys' Trevon Diggs who wants to follow in the footsteps of his dad and also become an NFL star someday.

This Christmas, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes decided to give Aaiden some extra motivation by gifting his fellow NFL star's kid a No. 15 jersey which had his signature on it. Atop that, Mahomes also wrote a personal note for Aaiden that read, “To Aaiden Diggs, keep being the star you are. Can’t wait to see you in the NFL one day.”

While some would think that Mahomes was just being affectionate, it appears that his connection to Aaiden goes beyond just a Christmas present.

For those who don't know, Aaiden went viral online earlier in this year because of one hilarious moment in the season finale of “Hard Knocks.” It can be recalled that the little dude confused Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott with Mahomes.

Aaiden, along with his family, was rocking Dak Prescott's famous number 4 Cowboys jersey when he went to see the two-time pro bowler. He was excited and seemed hyped about it and all but what happened next was something for the ages.

Aaiden and his family were waiting for Prescott, and when he finally arrived, Aaiden bluntly asked him, “So, you’re Patrick Mahomes?” The shocking moment got everybody laughing for a while and when young Aaiden realized that he's talking to Prescott, he then scratch it off and said, “No, not Patrick Mahomes, aren't you Dak Prescott? So, good to see you!”
