Patrick Mahomes has practiced in a limited fashion for two weeks since suffering his dislocated knee cap in a win over the Denver Broncos. On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback shedded that limited label, as he was a full participant, according to the team's latest injury report. His availability means that he could be available for Sunday's matchup with the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.

Head coach Andy Reid mentioned on Wednesday that the Chiefs are going to gradually increase Mahomes' workload before making a final decision on if he will play on Sunday.

We're not going to put him out there unless he's safe to do it,” Reid said before Mahomes was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice, via Adam Teicher of ESPN. “But he's got to go through this work level and keep increasing it and see how he does. We're going to see how he does. I think it's going to be day-to-day and see how he handles it. He didn't take a ton of reps last week, so we'll try to increase them here a little bit and see how it works out.”

According to Teicher, Mahomes was second-in-line in individuals drills behind backup Matt Moore. Moore has filled in as the starter since Mahomes' injury. He has done so adequately, posting a 1-1 record as a starter and tossing for 659 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions on a 64.8% completion rate.

Despite Mahomes taking second reps, the likelihood of him playing on Sunday is skyrocketing with his increased practice availability.
