When the Kansas City Chiefs were beaten in the Super Bowl by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they lost largely due to their lack of offensive line performance. They have spent the entire offseason trying to remedy this. Their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes seems pretty excited about the Chiefs' Orlando Brown trade.

The Chiefs will try to run it back and make another run at the Super Bowl this season. Patrick Mahomes is a historically great quarterback talent and he's paid like one. Last year, he signed the largest contract in NFL history and many thought this could limit the team building potential of the Chiefs. They have proved this somewhat wrong by building a pretty impressive offense around Mahomes. Receiving targets like Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill give Mahomes excellent targets to throw to. Now, he has an impressive offensive line to pair with the receiving threats.

The Chiefs could potentially be a historic offense next season. Talent like that coached by Andy Reid, one of the best offensive minds in football, make for one of the more exciting offenses in recent memory. The Chiefs have truly built a remarkable team with what they have to work with.

It would be a shock if preseason odds put anyone above the Chiefs in terms of championship odds and for good reason. They have addressed their biggest weakness and are poised for a championship run. The Chiefs are on the verge of becoming a true dynasty, maybe the greatest in football history if they can continue these winning ways. Now, with this much protection for Mahomes, the sky is the limit.
