There aren't many players in the NFL who are tougher to cover than Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and he is proving why on Sunday in their Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans. Kelce just became the first player in playoff history with three touchdown catches in a quarter:

The Texans jumped out to a huge lead over the Chiefs early in the second quarter. Many people were writing off Kansas City, forgetting that the offense boasted Patrick Mahomes and Kelce.
After falling behind 24-0 to begin the second quarter, the Chiefs' offense began scoring points with ease. At first, Damien Williams hauled in a touchdown catch to get Kansas City on the board.
Article Continues BelowFollowing a couple of forced turnovers, the Chiefs made it 24-21 after two touchdowns from Kelce. Then, to close a masterful quarter, Mahomes delivered another touchdown pass to Kelce to give Kansas City a lead heading into halftime.
During the regular season, Kelce accumulated 97 receptions, 1,229 yards, and five touchdowns. In just the second quarter of Sunday's playoff game, Kelce caught more than half of the touchdowns that he had in the regular season.
Provided that, the Texans likely spent halftime deciphering ways to contain the All-Pro tight end. At the same time, Andy Reid is configuring ways for Kelce to remain involved in the team's offensive game plan. At 6-foot-5 and nearly 260 pounds, Kelce is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. There are still two quarters remaining for Kelce to add to his impressive totals in the first half, though he's currently dealing with a hamstring issue.
