Kansas City Chiefs fans were shocked when the team opted to trade superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins earlier this offseason. However, it wasn't just the fans who were shocked. Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, who is very close with Hill, was asked about the trade to the Dolphins ahead of the NFL Draft. Kelce revealed his immediate reaction to the shocking deal, as reported by Fox4 Kansas City.

“No, no! Where you goin’, man?” Kelce said when asked during an appearance on ESPN’s NFL Live ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft. “Then I heard it was the Jets or the Miami Dolphins. I’m like, ‘What? East? Alright, man.'”

Kelce's first reaction was one of shock, causing him to wonder where his teammate and friend in Hill was heading. Upon hearing it was one of two destinations- the Dolphins or New York Jets, the Chiefs tight end was very surprised.

Kelce didn't say it out loud, but he was likely wondering what the heck Hill was thinking wanting to go from the contending Chiefs to the Dolphins or Jets. Of course, Miami, where he ultimately landed, has a chance at being improved in 2022.

Still, even looking back on it now, the trade remains a shocking one. Especially to former teammate Travis Kelce.
