The Kansas City Chiefs received bad news for their potent offense on Sunday, with star wide receiver Tyreek Hill injuring his shoulder.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the 25-year-old wideout is “questionable” to return to the AFC West franchise's opening tilt against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hill, a three-time Pro-Bowler, is a devastating piece of head coach Andy Reid's Chiefs offense, led by the 2018 NFL season's Most Valuable Player in Patrick Mahomes.
Hill's injury comes right after the Jaguars lost veteran Nick Foles, the Super Bowl–winning quarterback with the Philadelphia Eagles who signed with Jacksonville in the offseason.
Right after Hill came out of the game, Mahomes was seen limping off the field with an apparent leg injury—the product of what looked to be a defensive player rolling on the leg. Hill and Mahomes are arguably the two most important (offensive) pieces for Reid's club; offensive juggernauts that Chiefs faithful can expect to stream roll opposing defenses. Shortly after Mahomes left, however, the young star and future face of the NFL returned to the field, diminishing concerns for his health.

Hill had a monster season for Kansas City last year, tallying 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and scoring 12 touchdowns. A dynamic player on offensive—with incredible speed, too—Hill also gained 151 yards and scored one touchdown out of the backfield, rushing on 22 instances.
A fifth-round pick by the Chiefs in 2016, Hill has gone on to earn two selections on the All-Pro team, including a place on last year's honor.
Hill's status will be monitored and updated as more information comes through.
