It's been recently revealed by NFL Players president Steve Scebelo that Mahomes is now the merchandise king of the league. He has unseated Tom Brady as the face of the league in the merchandise front due to the qualities he brings to the game.
“The success off the field and the leadership,” Scebelo said, via CNBC's Jabari Young. “He comes across as somebody fans can root for. Starring in the State Farms ads, you can see some of the personality come through, and he’s just someone fans feel they can connect with and they want to root for.”
Mahomes hopes that he can back all of the support he's getting by winning the Super Bowl. The Niners defense is bracing themselves for a night of long-range bombs from the most dangerous arm in football.
