It's been a wild offseason so far and we still have the 2022 NFL Draft to look forward to on Thursday. The rumor mill has been humming lowly for a while now but it's beginning to pick up steam. Recently, the Kansas City Chiefs have been rumored to make a big move in the first round of the draft. It's unclear what will happen, but it sounds like this franchise might have a trick up their sleeve.
According to Ari Meirov, the Chiefs, “appear to be among the most motivated teams looking to trade up.” This team has multiple draft picks at their disposal after trading Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, giving them the ammo needed to make a move if necessary. We'll see how it plays out, but Kansas City is one organization to keep an eye on once the draft is underway.
The #Chiefs appear to be among the most motivated teams looking to trade up. They have 12 picks in this draft, including eight in the first four rounds. They have ammunition to make it happen.
Could be for a WR, but defense is also an option.

The roster could use some help on the defensive side of the ball, as there are several holes that need filling. However, with Tyreek Hill out of the picture, Kansas City might be looking for his replacement in the NFL Draft. Luckily for the Chiefs, this year's class is stacked with solid receivers and a plethora of defensive talent. If they want to make a move up, the front office can certainly make it happen.
These are currently rumors, but the closer the draft gets, more and more information will trickle in. Keep a close eye on the Chiefs, as they could be one of the teams to make a huge move in the first round of the NFL Draft.
