The Kansas City Chiefs are facing the Indianapolis Colts in a Sunday Night Football game in Week 5. After the Colts took a surprising 7-3 lead, Patrick Mahomes went to work.
The Kansas City quarterback is continuously doing things that make jaws drop. He causes people to shake their heads and simply say “wow.”
That's exactly what he did with this ridiculous play. Mahomes scrambled and threw an absolute bullet of a touchdown pass while on the run.

Mahomes scrambled out of trouble multiple times in the play. It ended with him sprinting to the right side. From there he threw an absolute dart.
At this point, it's hard to be surprised by anything incredible that Mahomes does. However, you can still marvel at the plays.
The fact that Mahomes could scramble away from all that pressure is one thing. That's something not all quarterbacks could do.
It was the throw that was the most ridiculous part of the play though. While on the run and throwing off one foot, the quarterback still managed throw a ball about 35 yards in the air. Not only did he throw it 35 yards but he threw it with the speed of a Pedro Martinez fastball.
This touchdown gave the Chiefs the lead back at 10-7. However, the Colts responded with a field goal to tie the game up at 10-10.
There is still a lot of game left as it isn't even halftime yet though. That means there's a whole lot of time left for the score to change. More exciting though, there is a lot of time left for Patrick Mahomes to amaze the football world a few more times.
