Week 1 of the 2019 NFL season will feature a star-studded showdown between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs. It appears cornerback Jalen Ramsey will oblige by tailing wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Headlining this game will be the matchup between Hill and Ramsey. According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, defensive coordinator Todd Wash plans on having his All-Pro corner line up across from the speedster all over the field.

Defensive coordinator Todd Wash said Wednesday, via multiple reporters, that Ramsey will travel around the field with Hill in Week One when the Chiefs visit Jacksonville.

There is certainly plenty of intrigue surrounding this showdown. Not only are they two of the best players at their position but they also share a bit of history after exchanging some words last season. It seems they will waste no time in getting Round 2 started.

Prior to their matchup in October of the 2018 campaign, Hill embraced the prospect of being pressed by Ramsey. The latter responded by acknowledging his prowess as a return specialist rather than a true wide receiver. Although Hill was limited to four catches for 61 yards on seven targets, his team did manage to escape with a 30-14 win.

Each player will be using this showdown as an opportunity to one-up the other. Given the update, fans will get an ample look at the one-on-one matchup between two of the best players at their position. Ramsey is hoping to have his cake and eat it too this time by limiting Hill's production en route to a potential upset of the Chiefs.
