Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will make his first trip ever to Chicago to take on the Bears. On paper, this looks like just another game, but there is a big storyline surrounding it. The Bears traded up in the 2017 draft to select Mitchell Trubisky while Mahomes was still on the board.

Most know how the last couple of years have worked out for their respective teams. The Chiefs look to be Super Bowl contenders with Mahomes under center, while the Bears have questions about whether Trubisky can be their quarterback of the future or not.

Even though Mahomes hasn't talked a ton about it, there is no doubt Mahomes feels a little extra pressure to have one of his better games of the season. Will he be able to do it? Let's breakdown some bold predictions for the Chiefs quarterback.

3. Mahomes throws for 400 yards

This is an important game for the Chiefs in terms of playoff seeding and Andy Reid isn't going to be afraid to take his foot off the pedal in this game. A couple of games ago against the Dallas Cowboys the Bears allowed Dak Prescott to throw for 334 yards. In this game, Mahomes is going to light up the scoreboard and pass for at least 400 pass yards.

2. Mahomes throws two deep bombs to Tyreek Hill

Dumping and diving doesn't always work against the Bears defense which means the Chiefs are going to look for the big throws downfield. Mahomes and Hill haven't hit as much this season on deep throws, but that will change in this game.

Look for Mahomes to look early and often for Hill and for them to hit on a couple of them. The two are going to hit on deep throws for 60+ yards that end in touchdowns.

1. Chiefs win by 17+

This game means a lot for the Chiefs, while it doesn't mean a whole lot for the Bears in terms of hunting for the playoffs. It's an important game for Trubisky and when there is a lot of pressure on him he seems to struggle. Look for the Chiefs offense to run up the score putting up at least 40 points.

Trubisky is going to struggle which is going to cause the Bears offense to not move the ball. The Chiefs are going to win this game by at least 17 points and it's going to make Bears fans wonder even more about what could have happened if they took Mahomes instead of Trubisky.
