Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey had a big game in Week 16 against the Minnesota Vikings, and his play caught the attention of a fellow superstar athlete. Kevin Durant, who was recently placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols, was clearly watching the NFL action on Sunday, and sent out a tweet recognizing Ramsey's greatness. Well, after the game, Ramsey took notice of KD's comments and responded to the Nets' star.

While KD claims that Ramsey has mastered the cornerback position, Ramsey ensured the Nets' MVP candidate that he was still hard at work to get even better.

Ramsey wasn't the only player to receive some high praise from Durant, who was also tuning into the performance from Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown against the Carolina Panthers. Durant extended his compliments to AB as well, who put on quite the display in Week 16.

Ramsey and the Rams were able to come away with a 30-23 victory in Week 16, despite some shaky quarterback play from Matthew Stafford. Ramsey recorded seven tackles in the game and one pass defense, helping Los Angeles' defense prevent a comeback from Kirk Cousins and the Vikings.

The Rams were able to clinch a playoff berth with their win over the Vikings, and at 11-4 they'll look to finish the season on a high-note. Ramsey has recorded 71 tackles this season, alongside 14 pass defenses, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. The superstar cornerback was selected to his fifth-consecutive Pro Bowl in 2021, and now he's gaining recognition from some of the NBA's elite, too.
