Los Angeles Rams WR Odell Beckham Jr. opened up after a disappointing first outing for the team in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers. The newest member of the Rams struggled in limited opportunities in his first game with LA as he continues to get used to the system after just starting to train with the team over the past few days.

The former Offensive ROTY chose to focus on the good and simply claimed that it wasn't their night after the 49ers handed the Rams a 31-10 loss at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco.

“I was excited. I feel like I was ready for the moment. I've been through so much and God has put me in this position for that moment. And, it just wasn't our night,” the newest member of the Rams explained (via ESPN).

OBJ was sparingly used in Week 10. For what it's worth, it's hasn't been a full week since the star wideout chose to sign with LA after a dramatic stint with the Cleveland Browns. In his debut for the franchise, Beckham ended up with two catches for a total of 18 yards on just three targets:

“I'll be here, I'll be working out,” Beckham said. “I had a baby hiatus with everything that was going on. Emotionally it was a lot. So now I get to get back in the lab, get to work, and get through the playbook. You lick your wounds and get ready for one of the best teams in the NFL in Green Bay at Lambeau,”

As forgetful as it was, at least the three-time Pro Bowler has already gotten his feet wet. OBJ can now shake off this poor performance and get back to it as the Rams expect him to make a dent in the franchise this season.
